Good Story…The Seller Was Amazing.
I am revising my review because I contacted the seller who explained to me that the original print had been published before revisions had been made. The seller graciously sent me a corrected copy free of charge! I have since re-read the book and once again I am pleased with the moral lesson within this story, which is something I want to emphasize with my students when we do a compare and contrast of different fractured fairytale versions of Jack and the Beanstalk. The moral lesson that most of my students noticed this year was ‘why didn’t Jack’s mother ever acknowledge Jack stealing from the giant?’ Which is indicative of children thinking on a higher level. This story addresses this moral lesson, which I am glad that I will have the opportunity to do next start of school. I like unique twist on classic fairytales and this fits the bill. Specifically, having Jack as a different ethnicity and the metaphysical aspect as well of the space ship. I believe my students will enjoy this version. Thank you again to the seller for sending me a corrected copy.

Okay
There is a good moral in the story. Sometimes kids wants to help but they may do things without understanding the consequences. As adults we need to forgive them. They deserve a second chance.
